Change of Plans Due to No Cameraman! - Production

 November 27, the first day my group and I met up to begin filming started with us finishing the storyboard. The song that I chose was the one that was picked. I drew much of the storyboard, as well as much of the blocking was my idea. I then helped assign which of us would play specific characters. It was concluded that I would be one of the friends in the neighborhood. After the first two shots were filmed we skip to the second scene and went straight to the filming the third. At first, we were going to rely on Jack's sister to film the shots with all four of us in it. However, this is when the first issue of the day arose, as she didn’t want to film for us and left the house. I then suggested that we edit the idea and divert from the storyboard by lowering the number of neighborhood friends from three to two and have one of us film. Francesco offered to film, and we continued by filming the first scene. As I came up with much of the idea and storyboard, I took a directorial role. I couldn’t film the shots in the third scene as I was in them, however before Francesco began filming I set up the camera for him and the corrected the angle. I talked him through the camera movements, if there were any, and how long I believe he should film. However, after the whole sister dilemma we wasted a lot of time and therefore sunlight. While filming scene two, which took place outside, the bad lighting was prevalent. During filming I bought up that we will most likely have to reshoot these scenes with better lighting. After some debate, we decided that we would film these scenes and if we must refilm them later. After we were done with the scene, I suggested that we film all the rest that took place outside another day. We then filmed the inside clips that would be used in the montage. I was acting in the baking and board game clips. Lastly, Salomè drove us to holiday park as I thought it would be a good idea to get some clips there. I got there and acted in a couple clips of us playing soccer and volleyball. With this day when the filming was complete.
