Storyboard: Final Task
Paper 1:
Scene 1: Establishment shot of Galleria Mall, our first location from behind a bush as if the audience is stalking.
Scene 2: Close-up of the store door where the name of the studio is displayed “Ovarra Studio”
Scene 3: Low angle shot of the store behind a trash can
Scene 4: The shot will transition again to a close-up of the wall on half the screen and a girl is seen shopping on the other half.
Scene 5: Shot of the girl removing a shirt from the rack and revealing the film title.
Scene 6: Her phone begins to ring. Medium shot of the girl realizing. Close-up of the phone in her pocket.
Paper 2:
Scene 7: Shot of girl answering the phone, then the camera transitions through her hair to the next scene.
Scene 8: Transition to next scene at the park.
Scene 9: Shot of Marcus tying his cleats with dialogue.
Scene 10: Marcus’s phone rings and he reads a text message saying “I know what you did last night”
Scene 11: Over the Shoulder high angle of him reading the text, frozen.
Scene 12: Transition to Valeria approaching her vehicle while on a call.
Paper 3
Scene 13: Medium shot of Valeria, continuing to approach her car.
Scene 14: Shot of her from behind picking up the letter.
Scene 15: Low angle shot of Valeria abruptly hanging up the call and staring fearfully at the letter.
Scene 16: Long shot of her in the the parking lot, frozen
Scene 17: Transition back to Brianna in call with her friends saying they must meet up.
Scene 18: Another shot from outside the exit door to show stalker perspective.
Paper 4
Scene 19: Film cuts to a shot of someone in a car (Valeria’s car). Over-the-shoulder shit.
Scene 20: On teenager steps into the car, signifying and transitions to all the characters uniting.
Scene 21: Camera zooms into Valeria for her dialogue.
Scene 22: Camera cuts into a zoom in of Marcus for his dialogue.
Scene 23: Camera cuts into a zoom in of Brianna for her dialogue.
Scene 24: Camera cut into zoom in of Alex for his dialogue.
Paper 5
Scene 25: A long shot of Alex on the phone with his friends while walking to his house.
Scene 26: A medium low shot of Alex walking with a slight shake. He’s still on the phone with his friends and sees something on the ground.
Scene 27: when Alex reaches his doorstep, he stops in his tracks and starts blanking.
Scene 28: the camera pans from a medium low angle to an over the shoulder. This reveals an ominous message on his doorstep.
Scene 29: the writing on the letter comes out of the paper to form the movie title “What Happened Last Night ”.
