Production: Props and Filming Attempts

Before Jack and I began filming, we wanted to completely finalize creating our props. I wanted to incorporate a couple of interesting physical title designs. One of these included the name of our film which will be revealed on a shirt. The shirt with the title would be shown as my character lifts up a shirt blocking it during the mall scene. However, this left Jack and I with a debate. We could either hand write the name of our film on the shirt or we could print out letters in the font we selected and glue it on the shirt. We decided to prepare one shirt with the words written out on it. However, we also decided to print out the letters and glue on a different shirt. This gives us both options to choose from on the day of filming. We also decided to print out a bunch of letters in the font that we chose previously. This allows us to use this interesting title sequence format throughout the film if we want to. After that task, we concluded most of the prop preparation.

Now that our prop creation was seemingly finished, we wanted to move on to the filming process. Scheduling proved to be our first challenge. We attempted to film after school today, however, both Jack and I along with our other actors had after school sports. This led to us only being able to film at 5:00pm, but we still tried to make it work. We went to holiday park to film our second scene as it occurs later in the day compared to our first scene. We thought we would have plenty of daylight, however, we were proven wrong. We still filmed the scene with no additional issues but the fact that it was visibly late messes up our story board timeline. This blatant issue means we will most likely have to film this scene again.
